Justin Rightmer is a Partner at Stephens & Rightmer.  He takes great pride in his work and feels that defending healthcare providers is his calling.  Justin takes a personalized approach to each case and prides himself in finding creative and unique defenses for his clients.  His approach has achieved excellent results for both physician and institutional defendants.  In addition to healthcare liability defense, Justin has experience in general commercial litigation and transactional law including contract enforcement, trade secret disputes, estate planning, and mergers and acquisitions. 

Justin earned his Bachelor of Science in Radio-Television-Film from the University of Texas at Austin before beginning his legal studies at the University of Houston Law Center.  He has been with Stephens & Rightmer since 2019.  Justin believes his eclectic experience helps him connect with clients from different backgrounds.  His interest in health care law arose during his law school years and was encouraged by medical professionals in his family.

Justin has immense respect for the dedication and hard work of health care professionals.  He understands their work is complex, challenging, and often emotionally taxing.  Justin cares about his clients and believes in forming a personal connection with each one of them.  He is a fierce defender of his clients’ position and will always fight for the best possible outcome.

When not at work, Justin enjoys spending quality time with his wife, dog, and two cats.  He is an avid world traveler and spent time living in both New Zealand and Ireland.
